Tony was a big part of my childhood. We spent most of our summers together as my mother Betty Walker would send me to stay with my grandparents for the summer which was right across the road from Tony. He took me under his wing if you seen Tony I wasn't far behind. They were treasured memories. Then he came to Montreal and I got to show him life in the big city. Even when young was always working hard and helpful to anyone who needed it. Then he ended up in Toronto. The last time I seen Tony his family came to Montreal to visit with Peggy and the children Tony was so proud of Josh and Jessica who were maybe three and four back then after that have not seen him in person but were in touch on Facebook. Now I an in shock his passing was so sudden. I will miss knowing you were there. May you rest in peace til we meet again.

I met Tony when our boys were you g and playing T-Ball and we became friends easily. Tony was so easy going and easy to talk to , he had the biggest heart and was there for anyone who needed him. Our kids grew but we went to the same pub and friendship continued with lots of great conversations and laughs - when i found out in 2018 i was from Newfoundland Tony said with a big laugh right away - i knew it !! I knew you were Newfie, still makes me smile. Tony always asked about my kids and wanted to know how they were doing . Tony was one of the real good ones and i was truly heartbroken to hear of this sudden loss , always remembered with a big smile ❤️RIP friend

I remember growing up in Winterton and whenever you thought of Tony you always remembered his drums. Walking in over the road heading to the park, you’d always hear Tony out in his shed playing the drums. Talented musician, quiet, loyal friend, family man, hard worker, loved by all. Gone way too soon. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Tony’s passing. Sending love and condolences to the family. RIP cousin. You will be missed.

My memory of Tony is from his first year of school in our hometown of Winterton. It was my first year of teaching in the old United Church school which is now the
Boat museum. My memories of Tony are very clear as he was such a pleasant child who was well liked by his classmates. It was just recently I was looking at my picture of that first class and my husband asking if I could tell all their names. As I went through the list I would say something about each pupil. As I reached Tony's spot in the group my comment was ' pleasant and quiet little boy."
As I read his obituary the statements expressed are no surprise to me. Even though I never knew him as a grown man I felt compelled to write this to his family. My prayers are with you at this time of sorrow and may you find comfort in the memories you have of him.

Tony was a friend to everyone and had a heart of gold. We go back a long ways of growing up in our small town of Winterton. From playing ball in on the play ground, to building camps in the woods. Playing directions in the path night after night was always fun. I will always remember Tony with a smile on my face and he will always be spoke about in our home with fond memories. RIP dear friend. 💔

Tony was one of my boyhood friends. We played ball together and he could run like the wind and of course he was a fabulous drummer. When we were 7 we sat beside each other in school. He wasn't the best speller then but I worked out a deal with Margie who sat on the other side of us and I would fix her spelling mistakes if she fixed Tony's. Until I got caught that is. He was an amazing friend. I was so sad to hear of his passing.
