I met Cal when i was a teenager, waiting tables at a pizza restaurant. We spoke often of those days and the old gang, most of whom are gone now. He has been a good friend for over 50 years. I loved to listen to his silly stories. He was bigger than life, and in his words, ‘I’ll miss him awful’. He never missed calling or emailing to make in remembrance of an anniversary. His death will create a hole that will be tough to fill.

After reading what Crissy wrote, I could not say it any better. The only difference is with me it was 50 years, which he was also my very best and closest confidant. But Cal's two carat smile could not be duplicated.

We will miss getting an email on our birthdays, celebrating with you on holidays, we will miss your laugh, your love, your kindness and most of all your smile. I hope you knew just how special you were to us. The boys and I will forever be grateful to have had you in our lives. We will hold our memories close and talk about you always. Till we meet again

Mike and I are so sad that our dear friend Cal has past. We will miss our family gatherings with him here. He was a big part of our celebrations over the last 40 years. You are a big personality that I will miss most of all. Love from all of my family and my friends were his friends.
