The last time I saw Darrell was at a meeting at the Ashburn Golf Course. Same old Darrell! Lots of personality and a hearty laugh! We’ve lost one of the good guys. Our sincere condolences to Francine & the family.

I knew Darrell from curling at Lakeshore Curling Club and he was one of my favourite guys to curl with and against. Always a smile no matter how the game was going and as I used to say to him: have fun because if you win or lose: no pay raise, no promotion, no demotion and they can't fire you. Keep smiling and be with all curlers on those draws to the buttons, we all need the help. HURRY HARD

Am still in disbelieve to hear the news of Darrell's passing. The memories of working with him at Sun Tower will remain fresh in our minds forever. Darrell was not only so upbeat and positive but was the glue that kept the group together. His willingness to share his knowledge and ideas did not go unnoticed. The world is a better place because Darrell spent time in it and his wisdom and laughter will be with everyone who was lucky enough to know him forever. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Darrell and I worked together in financial planning. He was a pleasure to work with and a fine man. My deepest condolences Francine and family. I will remember his laugh and smile.

Darrell and I started our financial careers together with the same firm.

He was a real gentleman.

He became an instant friend as soon as we were introduced to each other.

We worked together with clients on many occasions.

We were learning together and encouraging each other.

We last chatted some time ago on the Bedford waterfront while he was out walking with his dog.

Francine and family, you will be in our thoughts and prayers during the coming days.

Shared a flat in Ottawa with Darrell and Sybren many years ago. Lots of laughs and adventures. Great memories which

I am very sorry for your loss, I remember Darrell coming to our home on numerous occasions, one time he brought your daughter, I think that, she was just over a year old, he was dropping her off atday care, she was the apple of her father's eye, my prayers are with you and your family.

So saddened to hear of Darrell’s passing. Our thoughts go out to Francince & family. Darrel wasn’t just a financial advisor that helped us get our feet on the ground, but a good friend too. He will be missed.

I am so saddened to learn about Darrell’s passing. We were great pals during our Mount Allison years- then sailed the Northumberland Strait, and I was given the great honour to be a groomsman at his and Francine’s wedding. Sadly our paths have not crossed much in later years. But wonderful, fun memories remain.

What a shock to read this. I was wondering why I didn't see him at the rink this fall. Darrell was one of my favorite curling friends. We used to arrive at the rink at the same time which was later than most! One of the other woman and I used to tease him every time he shot his rocks, by telling him he had great form! He was a great curler and had such a wonderful smile. Sending sympathy and hugs to his family.

I was neighbours for some years with Darrell and family in Bedford. I always enjoyed our talks as he was heading in or out with the dogs. His laughter and that smile were constant, and he was a truly glowing personality. An amazing life but an even more amazing man. Darrell, I will forever cherish our time together and the way you seemed to connect effortlessly with everyone around you. There was such a presence about you, and you always showed genuine interest in Gen and I's lives and interests. I will particularly remember our time together in St. Lucia where we explored the island over local beers, and I had the privilege of listening to you share your stories and wisdom.
