Biography
Edward Michael Marak, a man who loved life and lived it to the fullest, has left this world on April 13th, 2023. He was a man who knew how to have fun, and his friends and family were always a top priority to him. Ed had a magnetic personality that drew people towards him, and he had a way of making everyone feel at ease in his presence. Ed loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends, whether it was a night out on the town, dancing and enjoying dinner and drinks, or just relaxing by the campfire up north. He was a true joy to be around, and his infectious laugh and positive attitude were always uplifting. In his 70's, Ed still carried his A/Z license and would work here and there because he loved to keep busy and help others. He was a man of strong work ethic, and his dedication to his craft was unmatched. Edward Michael Marak is survived by his loving sister, Irene McKee, and his children, Janice Marak, Timothy Kerr, and Stephan Kerr. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who will all miss him dearly. Although Ed's passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him, his memory will always live on in the hearts and minds of his loved ones. He was a beloved member of his family and had a positive impact on the lives of everyone he encountered. Rest peacefully, Ed, knowing that your presence here on Earth was cherished and that you will be forever missed.

I met Ed only a few times but I remember he was an amazing good hearted person willing to help people any way he could. The world is a safer place without Ed.

Hey Ed, we have many fond memories of you and Lynn for the years you looked after us and all at Governor's Green, Dundas. Rest in Peace as you touched many lives and made us laugh uproariously on many occasions.
