My east coast buddy; I will never forget the warm welcomes every time I managed to visit over the past number of years. My first time ever on a sailing boat & got to not only pull the ropes but a measured time behind the massive captains wheel. The many dinners with great wine & stories we had. You will be missed my friend. Always in my thoughts.

Sorry for your loss. We had many good times with Greg and Lynn and whenever I think of caramel and salted ice cream I'm reminded of that delicious dessert he made for us. The sail boat is very memorable, how Lynn spoke of sailing and all the jargon that goes with it. We will miss Greg and send our sympathy on your loss. Thank you for the memories of our time spent together. Much love Michelle and Dave.

There are many happy memories with cousin Greg, especially from Epworth park where he spent the summers at our family cottage and his love of peanut butter and banana sandwiches. When my Brother Chris passed at a very young age, Greg stepped in as my other big brother. He will be missed.

I have fond memories of my uncle. Meals were always an occasion, wine was always poured and dessert always followed. I loved his stories about the funny antics of Togo, Max and Roscoe - each with their own unique personality. I'll miss your dry wit and advice for great wine pairings. Love you Greg.

We enjoyed being neighbours to Greg and Lynn these past 12 years. We’ll miss his dry sense of humour. Until he was no longer able, Greg was always ready to clear the snow out of our driveway with his blower. The aroma from his backyard barbecue definitely put our own efforts in the kitchen to shame! Our condolences to Lynn and to Greg’s family.

I have many happy memories of wine tastings, food and wine pairings and hosting dinner parties. Greg had many unique expressions, some of which were adopted by my family. Olives are never consumed at a family gathering without someone quoting Greg. My condolences to both Lynn and her family as well as the Everett family. Deb

I have a number of fond memories with my Uncle Greg, but the standout for me is our days on the water. I got to take part with his love of sailing. Despite my lack of sailing knowledge and just pulling lines when I was told, I enjoyed every moment I got to share with him. We got to enjoy lots of laughs and he would share his unusual sandwiches like peanut butter with raisins (Not sure if he knew about raisin bread). Every time I see the sail boats out I always think back of these days and smile. You will always be remembered.

When I think of uncle Greg I think of my birthday. Being a twin my birthday was always shared, however Greg would make an afternoon for just me. He would pick me up and take me to Silver Spoon in Halifax. I would get cheesecake (sometimes two slices) no limits with uncle Greg. Always made me feel special! Love you uncle Greg hope your eating all the sweets you could ever desire in your peaceful afterlife ❤️

Greg worked for me for a few years in the late 80s. He was a great guy. In particular I enjoyed his sense of humour. I lost touch with him maybe 15 years ago. Sorry for your loss.

My Friend Greg: I will always remember the struggle with Parkinson's you shared while you were in the same hospital room with my mother Ruby. Of the 9 people in that room while my mother was there, you were there the longest. I enjoyed speaking with you and learning a bit about your life. Even when they moved you to another room, you kept watch outside my mother's room many days. I will always remember your concern in asking about her when I visited or when I was leaving. Like her, you showed much courage in dealing with your difficult challenges. My you enjoy your pain-free state. We will say hello when we meet again!
