Hazel was a dear to many people. Her love of Jesus was amazing. Even though I am so sad I won't see her smile again, I am happy to know she went to see the one she loved dearly. I miss you so much Hazel

Hazel not only is a lover of the Lord but also a dog lover. She was my dogsitter. She was sweet and kind to my dogs because when we return from vacation and she had to leave, my dogs missed her.

She was able to speak some Cantonese and her Cantonese sounded like it was spoken by a Chinese.

I will miss her for her kindness, sweet nature and someone who expresses the love of God.

We have known Hazel for almost 50 years. Her love of the Lord and her commitment to Him was an inspiration to so many at CIT.

Hazel's joyful spirit allowed her to find humour in many situations, including difficult ones. She was even able to joke with Selena with her limited Cantonese.

We will miss her deeply but look forward to meeting again in that Day.

We are so sad to know that sister Hazel passed away. We have known sister Hazel for almost 20 years since we came to Canada. Her smiling face was the sunshine during our difficult new immigrant life. I still remember the ride she gave us to the church and the happy time we had in her apartment 19 years ago. We will miss you , Hazel.

I have known dear sister Hazel for 21 years, starting from a family meeting. Everything about her reminds me of love and peace of a real Christian. She took me to grocery shopping when I was a new immigrant. She talked with me in Tim Hortons when my English was very poor. I felt blessed to be in a church together with Hazel. Hazel you will be missed and lovingly remembered! RIP

Although Hazel’s life included many hardships, her buoyancy and love of life and of the Lord was always in evidence. We enjoyed many years of home meetings in her apartment, sharing the Word, singing hymns and enjoying fellowship together. Hazel was a very special person who was so very good at applying the Word to her everyday life and in this way, encouraging the rest of us to do the same. She will be sadly missed by all at CIT.

One of the most difficult tasks will be to tell my sister Pat that her dear dear friend Hazel passed away. Life moved them to other cities and away from the church that brought them together. While they did periodically communicate by phone it just wasn't the same. We are very sorry to read this news.

To the family of Hazel, take in and feel very comforted to know how many people Hazel left a wonderful lasting friendship. She was loved and considered special to so many, Pat included.

Hazel you will be missed and lovingly remembered. RIP dear soul.

We have known Hazel for more than 25 years in the church. We have had countless fellowships at many different times and in many different locations. We will always remember Hazel as a very cheerful person whose coutenance reflects her deep Christian faith. We never saw her get upset with anyone. Yesterday, as we drove to church, we said to each other that we won't see her again, at least, in this life. May our Lord welcome you in His arms and may you now rest in peace. We will miss you.

Hazel’s strong faith in the Lord is shown in how she lived. She loves spending time in church and joins us every Friday night’s bible study. We will remember Hazel’s singing worship songs (her favourite is 10,000 Reasons and You’re Beautiful), praying and sharing her faith journey with us. Even through her struggles with her health she would declared 2Cor. 4 :16 “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. “ Hazel is loved and will be greatly missed. Our comfort comes from knowing that Hazel is with the Lord now and her joy is complete. We will remember Hazel with her smile and warm heart.

We had the privilege of meeting Hazel and Helen for the first time at our Church Connect and found them both to be such beautiful ladies. Sadly we never had the privilege of getting to know her before she flew back to Canada. We now have been blessed in having Helen, her daughter as a sister in Christ.

The loving attributes Helen has, is because of the legacy Hazel has left behind. RIP dear Hazel.

Hazel was a long time member of CIT. She had a deep personal commitment to Jesus as her Lord & Saviour. Hazel was always ready to share from her store of experiences of Him. She is now “absent from the body, but present with her Lord”

Our Tuesday morning chats that were more often than not about Jesus. We also loved to try out new coffee shops or go back to our old favorite. When In Australia she would attend my church and she was welcome with open arms as I was at CIT. She was truly blessed and I will miss her dearly. I love you mum. xxx RIP 🙏
