Paul Maloney
Jan 19th 1934 — May 26th 2023 (89 years)
Biography
Paul was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, brother, uncle, friend, and handyman. He is now reunited with his daughter Marianne, his brothers, and friends, as well as his old pal Mikki. But greatly missed already by his wife Joanne, his children Douglas (Debbie), Sharon (Richard), and Shelagh (Jim). As well as his 17 Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. We will remember him in every slice of cake, every sip of whiskey, every home improvement project, and every tip of the Maple Syrup jug. In lieu of flowers our family would be honoured if you would make a donation in Paul’s name to the Make a Wish Foundation! This is an organization that is near and dear to our family’s heart 💛 The link is below https://makeawish.ca/wishchallenge/?utm_campaign=wishchallenge&utm_source=google_ads&utm_medium=google_ppc&gclid=Cj0KCQjw4NujBhC5ARIsAF4Iv6e6DYdFY7SP8NXbv4PtbiuiUKqAUGuC3XR1ivZ_81UUVvvKwSIh9ZAaAqocEALw_wcB

What a wonderfully kind neighbour Paul was. Always quick to help and have a cheerful word. With a neighbour like Paul how could the ‘hood be any better a place.
Rest in peace Paul, your duties are done but we will miss you.

The first time we met Grandpa Paul was while camping at Grundy Lake, he was so welcoming and chill and just happy to hang out and share a good story by the fire 🥰 we know he is incredibly loved and missed by his family 💛

My favourite construction partner!! We worked on many projects together; Oak St., Cope St. and Glen Echo, some of my favourite times were working with Paul on projects! Meticulous, skilled and patient with apprentices, always ready to laugh at any situation and even himself. Sharing a celebratory beverage after jobs was essential!! He was a consummate gentleman and good friend, great Father, Husband and Grandfather and Father-in-Law. He will be missed by all. Rest in peace Mr. Maloney!

Uncle Paul and Aunt Joanne were camping just outside Calgary, I believe it was 1982. They called to see if they could come for a visit, I baked a chocolate cake and we spent the evening together ❤️ I think they may of been my first visitors and I never forgot it! I will miss you!
