Biography
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of their father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, cousin, uncle and friend. Rick has passed away in his residence on March 22nd 2023 at the age of 69. Loving Father of Tammy Mitchell Whitford, Chastity Brown, Carrie Kyer (Jared), Shawn Kyer (Tammy), Patrick Kyer. Predeceased by one daughter, Mia. He will be missed by several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Rick was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Eva Kyer and Helen Groves. He was loved by his siblings Betty-Ann Mayer (Rejean), Brian Groves, Bruce Groves and Jimmy Groves. Predeceased by his brother James Kyer (Elaine), and sisters Kathleen Campbell (late William), and Charlene Spence (late Mansel).

You will be missed greatly from your sister betty-ann brothers Brian Bruce an jimmy. We loved you so much. It was a short life but every moment of your life was cherished. You have to know you will always be in our hearts an thoughts. You will be sadly missed.

So sorry Carrie to have to lose your dad this way. Be strong and remember the good times. I will also as a brother-in-law to me for almost 50 years it was always a respectful relationship. I couldnt have it any better. He was also a close brother and friend to Jimmy. May the family be all together today . We pray they rest in peace. 🙏🏻

I remember when i was younger and he came down to visit it was around halloween and he dressed up with my sister and i and came trick or treating. I will forever love and cherish the memories I made with my grandpa and will miss him more and more everyday.

Father, words cannot express my emotions since the day you departed. The first Man in my life has passed away. Daddy’s little girl I will always be despite some of the differences between you and me. I am angry that you have gone away, and have left me with no explanation for your departure that day. I can only hope and pray that you are walking freely and no longer suffering and In pain everyday. We never had a chance to say good bye and it’s a price I will pay. I don’t want to be hard on myself for I have loved you dearly. I hope you know that I did the best that I could without a doubt to help you through your journey. I hope one day we meet again. Some questions may never be answered as you were moving on to your next chapter.😓❤️ I want you to know I will always love you with all my heart each and everyday no matter if we are apart. ❤️ Till we meet again Father all I can say is I will be left with a broken heart. 💔xoxo
