In was an absolute honour to have gotten to know rob throughout the years. Not only knowing him through Meaghan being her mate, but my father knowing him in their younger years of hockey together. He was an absolute gem of a human and I’m sure will be missed by all. I remember walking home with Meaghan from highschool and stopping in at their old house for snacks and treats. His piano skills will be remember forever.

My deepest condolences to his family and friends, heaven has gained an incredible angel of a man.

Rob played a profound role and influence in not only my life but that of our family and personally I like to think a lot of who I am today and the values I share are a direct reflection of Rob and the influence he had.

Rob´s influence and friendship reached far and wide and without a doubt everyone will remember him for the amazing, caring, creative and jovial person he was. He was an amazing man with an amazing heart and will be dearly missed.

It´s really difficult for me to put into perspective the influence he had and how special he was to me but a few memories I will forever hold include:

- Chasing sunsets aboard Lustiga on the Great Lakes

- Fiercely competitive games of back gammon. I was the apprentice and then became the master

- Mid winter hot tub soaks in Richmond Hill

- All the support he provided during all of mine and my brother and sisters sporting activities. I recall one particular soccer tournament whereby a pounding bass drum and tribal chanting provided by Rob, created a new cultural experience for our soccer club

- Rob, Dad and Deb´s trip to Australia. So many memories here but Rob´s Piano playing at my sister Meaghan and husband Richard´s wedding was very special and will forever be remembered.

- Pancakes at grandma´s

Rest in peace Rob. Love and Light! You may be gone but will never be forgotten!

Love
