Biography

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sandra, Doril Arsenault (Lavallie) Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday April 29th in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Jacques for 52 years. Cherished mother to Dean and Lisa (Kyle). Fondly remembered by niece Carleen (Eddie) close childhood friend Sally Martin. Dear sister to Linda (Gordon), Lois (Bob) and sister in-laws Claudette and Nancy. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Cordelia (Fleury) siblings Eileen, Cyril (Joan), Royal, Aimee, Ann (Bill) Lila, and Gail. and many other nieces, nephews and beloved family members and friends. Sandra was a dedicated employee of Carlton University for 25 years. She will be remembered as a sweet gentle soul who accepted everyone as they were equally. Always helping someone in need, especially children and animals. Her kindness will be remembered by everyone she touched. She cherished the simple things like sitting on her front porch watching the people pass by and the birds sing joyously. A Special thanks goes to Dr. Sahira Charania for over 35 years of loving, supporting care and understanding. As per Sandra’s wishes there will be no service. She requested you to remember her with a smile and do something kind for others. If desired memorial donations to an animal shelter of your choice can be made. “To Know Her was to Love her.”

I remember when Roy took me to pembroke to meet the family Sandy was around 9 years old she was so cute stayed by my side kept talking to me . She gave me a little cup and saucer it’s at Brian’s with my dishes , So many good memories
