I have too many amazing memories with Tammie and our group of friends. Some of my favourite times were spent with her when we travelled around South America. One memory in particular stands out. Tammie and Dave came to Rio without any accommodations. We came up with a plan to stay out all night. We ended up at Ipanema Beach just before sunrise. The three of us swam in the ocean and watched the sun rise. It was so beautiful. One day I will go back there and make it my mission to swim in the ocean at sunrise in memory of her.
Tammie, I love you. Thank you for a lifetime of memories and the type of laughter that brings you to tears. These memories have brought my comfort because I know you live on through these memories.
I will never forget our lifetime of adventures. You will always remain top of my mind. I will carry your legacy with me for the rest of my life. I will see you on the other side.

Tammie was a precious soul. She was so kind funny and compassionate. I had a lot of my firsts with Tammie, one going to my first gay bar. She always made me feel accepted as I am. We use to take road trips down to Ottawa to visit our friends going to school! We would sing song for hours in the car and have so many of our own inside jokes. I’m really going to miss your bright soul but I know you are still around us! Love you

I am so fortunate to call Tammie my friend since we were 12 years old. In grade 7 I met Tammie on the school field. I had a hard time meeting friends, being the newbie at school. Tammie accepted me and wanted to be my friend right away. Over the years we shared so many laughs together. Tammie being the kind of person who could leave your stomach hurting for days because you laughed so hard together. I admire so much about my beautiful friend. I will love you forever, and I’ll miss you always. Until we meet again, I’m sending you all my love and sillies Tammie.
