Twila Dawne Doan-Neald

Jan 19th 1968 — Mar 27th 2023 (55 years)

Biography

In Loving Memory of Twila, age 55 of Regina / Qu’Appelle, passed away suddenly on March 27th, 2023 at her home in Qu’Appelle, Sask. Twila will be greatly missed by her partner Roger Sinclair, mother Dorothy Doan (Gallon), her brother Rob (Marquise), daughter Sherry, granddaughter Kaia and Addyson Bowie, nephew Benjamin Perry as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Twila is predeceased by her father Bob Doan, Grandparents William and Mary Gallon(Braunagel), Grandmother Pearl Doan/Wood (Amberson), Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Twila attended Thompson School and Balfour Tech and spent her childhood years in Regina, Sask. She grew up as a precocious independent child, always curious and adventurous. Those traits did get her in trouble a few times, but never slowed her down. Twila worked as a mechanic for many years and lived in a few places, Edmonton, Weyburn and Prince George, but always returned to the prairies and her family. Her most recent endeavour was working at the Day Care in Qu’Appelle which she loved. She was so proud of the children and so happy about all of their accomplishments. She could always be found entertaining the littles ones at social events or family gatherings. She enjoyed spending time in the summer at the family cottage at Katepwa Beach. Twila was always easy going and she never failed to greet people with her big smile and hello. There are so many lives you touched in such a positive way. So many memories that bring a smile and show the wonderful person you were. So many stories about how you made a difference or made someone’s day. Twila will be sadly missed by all who knew her

While I didn't know Twila, I had the privilege to see a room full of love for a life well lived. It was so apparent, to see how much she was loved. Tears are just love with no where to go. You stood together in your tears, and I was able to see a LOVE filled room. My thoughts and love are with each of you.

I don't even know where to begin. Twila was my favorite person. My best friend. In the time I met her she made a huge impact on me. She was there for my lowest moments to my biggest. She was always my cheerleader. I always knew that at no matter what I could call her up and she'd be there. I miss her daily. She was always full of life and love. She always seen the good and denied the bad. Stood strong in her bielfs and never backed down from a fight. I'll always remember her and keep her memory alive. I love you twila "Wilson". Forever and always. Rest in peace my love and fly high always! Till we meet again you'll always be in my heart. Xoxo

Even though we lived miles apart, I have lots of fun memories hanging out with Twi during summer visits. I will miss her genuine way of being and, of course, that laugh! Gone too soon but not forgotten.

Way too young my cousin -- wasn't able to connect with you over the last few years but my memories last forever-- especially your laugh. Sent with love and hugs to all -- especially Dorothy and Rob.

Twila's laughter filled our calls, she was the cheer leader and voice of reassurance whenever I was unsure and always had the right answer and the right direction. Cheers to our Friday night socials where Twila endlessly entertained with life stories she willingly shared, the smiles always turned to laughter for those who participated. Your silent footprints are your gifts you have left with us, thank you my beautiful friend! You will never be forgotten, will be missed more than you ever could know! Until we meet again, goodbye for now!

Doug and I send our deepest condolances to Podge, families and friends of Twila 💝

Twila was an important part of our daycare family. She always had a smile. She never left work on time, she would always stay and extra 15 , 20 minutes to chat and hang out with the kids. She was always bringing in things she thought the kids might enjoy playing with. We would reminisce about candy from our childhood,, music and share stories.
