Biography
William Raymond McCormack, (73), of Dartmouth, N.S. passed away on Sunday morning, March 19, 2023 at his home. William, commonly known as Bill, was born to the late Barbara Woodside and William McCormack on September 2, 1949. Bill looked forward to family time, always. Meals, trivia, board games and always planning the next event. Not a weekend went by without Bill hosting the family edition of sports center, covering the recent events of the week as well as the outlook for the weekend. A life long fan of the Montreal Canadiens, Bill also loved the Dallas Cowboys, Tom Brady and Nascar. Bill is survived by his wife Gaynelle, of Dartmouth, N.S. and daughters Lindsay, Kristen (Jared), Erin (Darian) and Rebecca (Michael). Grandchildren Emma, Chloe, Gabriel, Grace, Avery and Wyatt. His sisters Maureen, Evelyn and Ruth (Mike). Many nieces, nephews and extended family. Bill left us far to soon but the memories he gave us will always be passed through generations. Christmas will always be magical, a train will never go by without a thought of him and barbeques will be full of laughter and flavor. We will always miss his signature line after every visit "come back when you can't stay so long". Per Bill's wishes no service will be held.

My Big Brother, big difference in our ages, Billy used to play pitch and catch with me when I was a kid, he was one of the best big brothers a kid could have...As we got older and we went to weddings, bowling banquets, house parties, we always danced together, he had me dancing till I could dance no more lol, he was a very special, kind man whom loved his wife and girls with every fiber of his being, he was definitely a family man... Billy I miss you more than I can say, you took a piece of our hearts when you left, rest in peace now, you deserve it xx

My brother, I love you and will miss you so very much. We didn't see each other very much the last several years but I always knew if I needed you, you would be there. My protector since I can remember. You always had an ear if I needed to talk. The best big brother anyone could have. Love you always. Sending love to Gaynelle, Lindsay, Kristen, Erin and Rebecca.
